I mostly design and paint silk scarves, but over the years I have painted many metres of silk that have been made up into garments.  I have worked with various weights and weaves from chiffon for a prom dress, shantung for jackets, crepe de chine for dresses and antung for a wedding outfit.

My designs and colours vary depending on my sources of inspiration, and photos of some of my past work pops up from time to time on my blog.

For example these two scarves (above and below) are part of a series influenced by details from the medieval painted rood screens found in many parish churches across East Anglia where I live.

For three years before the Covid thing, I showed at British Crafts at Blackthorpe Barn. A great venue for a Christmas Craft Event and some lovely customers too.

As well as painting silk scarves and silk for garments I make textile art pieces. My silk paintings are mounted on canvas.

There's even more about my process and the inspiration I find from the medieval art

of East Anglia on my Blog.
